Over time, vibration can cause significant loosening in pre-stressed screw connections, increasing the risk of serious hazards. The new HYTORC J-Washer takes the original HYTORC Washers to an entirely new level by adding a locking feature that minimizes loosening to keep bolts tight under dynamic loads. The unique design of the HYTORC Washer Driver allows the double layered safety socket to react on the HYTORC J-Washer while turning the nut, while he inner socket turns the nut while the outer socket locks onto the washer underneath the nut. This unique, patented system eliminates the need for reaction arms, which are the most common cause of injury on bolting jobs.  With the strategic placement of a ridge band on the surface, the new reaction washer prevents loosening of pre-loaded fasteners while providing all the benefits of the traditional HYTORC Washers including safety, speed and tool longevity.
